The Results Are In

Thank you Clara Babs Diego Emi Manel Carlos Kachasman Gloria Brian Dori Amy Sue and Reyes for participating in the Lost in Brooklyn quiz. I want you to know that you all passed! You did a great job!

1. Everyone knew that Brooklyn is in New York.
2. Everyone knew that Prospect Park is the big park in Brooklyn.
3. Everyone knew that Brooklyn is located on Long Island.
4. Most people knew that the Brooklyn Dodgers baseball team moved to LA in 1958. (Only Spanish people, and Gloria, got this wrong).
5. Everybody remembered that I'm 51 and was born in 1958.
6. But many people think baseball is the most popular sport around here. It isn't. Soccer is the most popular sport. Only Babs Emi Manel and Amy said soccer.
7. In Brooklyn it is very cold in the winter. The average temperature in January, for example, is 33.5F or 1C. I couldn't find any statistics for Segovia. I know it is cold, but it isn't as cold as Brooklyn. Babs and Manel remembered visiting Segovia and that it was very cold. They put the incorrect answer. Only Emi and Amy have all the answers correct to this point.
8. But Emi and Amy said I've gotten lost FEW times in Brooklyn. How could they say this? The title of my blog is LOST IN BROOKLYN. I wrote a story about being lost for hours. Every day I turn right when I should turn left, and vice versa.
9. Emi was one of four people who got the correct answer about the pizza. $2.25. It's the normal price for a cheese slice near my house. The other brilliant people were Carlos Kachasman and Sue.
10. Amy was one of four people to get the bus question right. I rode on the number 41 bus. I went the wrong way. Gloria Brian and Dori also got this question right.

Four people, Amy Emi Brian and Dori answered 8 questions correctly. Brian and Dori were great, but Amy and Emi made the contest exciting. They missed the last, most difficult, pressure-packed questions. Amy and Emi win "I Love Brooklyn" tshirts. Congratulations Amy and Emi!
